Mags and Hugh had their first garden party on Sunday afternoon after a lovely choral concert in Hugh's school.

Mags and Hugh moved into their first home this weekend. Its a great old house and they have inherited lots of extras like the retro furniture, bone-handled knives, silver spoons, bone china teasets, cockroaches, spiders and WEEEEEEDS!It is a property with lots of potential. To celebrate the oncoming summer season we've started our early morning (7.00 am) beach walks and swims again. Oooooh! de life!

Charlie and Jane gig at JB O'Reilly's Irish Emporium on Saturday nights. There's a great restaurant too for Irish meals.

The bottle brush trees are in full bloom at this time and make a stunning picture.

Kookaburra

 
Its a bit hard to see but there's a little Kookaburra in this tree. There's a family of them on the golf course and they laugh uproariously at times. Hilarious to hear!

Summer is coming - the temp is getting into the high 20's and early 30's - beautiful.

Charlie and Mags and Jane and I are playing in the Allegri orchestra for a concert on Sunday November 7th. Jane is the flute soloist in the Bach B minoir Suite. The local papers here are taking an interest so George took a few pics for us. No part for brass people so Hugh isn't involved.
