Hillview golf club

I went with a couple of friends to Hillview Golf Club in the hills on Thursday to play golf - for a change! For $49 we got 18 holes, a ride-on buggy and a steak dinner for two people - AND a return game of 18 holes again! Bargain! It was a lovely course, plenty of greenery (in spite of near-draught conditions here). AND I won the money!

Busy entertainment day ...

On Saturday March 12th George and I saw two great entertainment shows. In the afternoon we went to see Riverdance, the original touring show in the huge Burswood entertainment centre. It was excellent - especially the violinist Niamh Fahy from Co Meath. The dancers were amaaaaaazing!
Then in the evening we went to see and hear WASO playing the Mozart Clarinet COncerto - everyone's favourite tune.
Well, it was the day before nm birthday!

Team Practice

Before the Inter-club Pennant series began, the members of the Mt Lawley ladies teams were given three short-game coaching sessions by one of our teaching pros Duncan Kegg who has developed an app for the iphone called islice to help golfers who slice. Its being very successful -as are his pupils!
