Winning at golf again

Had a great score at golf last Thursday - 69 nett - par is 74. I had 6 pars on the front nine and three more on the back. I had only 11 putts on the front nine and 17 putts on the back nine with a 4-putt and a 3-putt thrown in. It was easy on the day!

Drama today

We had drama on our road today when our neighbour reversed his car into a telegraph pole opposite his house and brought down several wires which lay 'live' across roads. It happened as I was teaching two little boys and they were highly excited when the emergency services - fire engines and tow trucks came. we had no power for several hours and since it was 36 degrees we were in need of our air-con! 'Twas hot!

Jubilee Bowl at Mt Lawley

We played in the last big mixed foursomes of the season on Sunday - the Jubilee Bowl - which is sponsored by Gayl's family. Gayl played with the club President, Milan. We had a lovely day - even spotted a kookaburra in a tree. It was a lovely day - up to 28 degrees in the afternoon. The weather is heating up!
