Charlie and myself will play in our first concert together in quite a few years on Sunday afternoon with the Allegri chamber orchestra. Its a nice programme, not too difficult but because rehearsals have been sparse (two so far!) the performance will be a concentrated affair!I'm also making my Australian debut on Friday night with the St Ives Entertainers - me, two banjolin players, an excellent pianist and a choir of St Ives residents. 20 songs in all with an 'Around the World' theme, including The White Cliffs of Dover, Galway Bay, Slow Boat to China and of course 'I Still Call Australia Home' as a finale. The evening will begin with a 'Happy Hour' at 5.30 (drinks, BYO), dinner in the restaurant at 6.30 and the concert at 7.30.
