sunday's concert

On Sunday afternoon, Charlie and I played with our string orchestra in a lovely church in Claremont. The church was made of beautiful wood, so the acoustics were excellent. Quite a large, appreciative audience. The orchestra members are all qualified musicians, some of whom are doctors, mathematicians, etc. Some are music teachers. The standard of playing was excellent. And, of course, the sun was shining from a clear blue sky which makes everything lovely!
