It was a great day today at our golf club - 9 holes of golf at 8.00 am. Then betting and gambling on the geegees before the race, followed by a three course lunch. We 'bought' two horses inthe Calcutta - I think they're both out there running still. I was very lucky to have drawn the winning horse 'Americain' in the sweep and won $100. High fashion was the order of the day - including a fashion parade accompanied by smart-alec comments!
