Lake Karrinyup Golf CLub

Today I played at Lake Karrinyup golf club in an inter-club comp between the three City of Stirling Clubs - Mt Lawley, Yokine GC and Lake Karrinyup GC. It was a v par competition in three divisions with 9 players in each section and 8 scores to count. Lake K is a championship course - beautiful to play - in excellent condition. It's a tough course to score on. I played well but not as well as yesterday - the putts just wouldn't go into the hole for me! The home club won - no surprise there! Mt Lawley were second. Its an annual event for The Stirling Bowl. Mt Lawley hosted it last year - and won! My partner for today was Lesley Meaney - well-known Australian Artist. Not only is she a brilliant artist both in art and sculpture, she is also a very good golfer - plays off 11 handicap, AND she is a swimmer - has swum both the English Channel and the Perth-Rottnest Channel. AND an extremely nice person too! Whadda woman!
