Nicha ....

So, having played a better second 18-holes of stroke for the club championships on Thursday of last week than I managed to do on Tuesday (36 hole stroke qualifying round over two days) I qualified for the match-play quarter-final on Monday - which I won, 4/3 over Winsome - a 'normal' lady member of the club. Today, in the semi-final I met Nicha - aged 11 - seen in these pics practicing her long shots on the practice ground AFTER she had defeated me 5/3. She was 3 over par gross for the 15 holes we played. I thought I was doing well by being 2 up after 7 holes. She proceeded as follows - birdie, par, birdie, birdie, bogey, par, par, par to win the match. Unreal! Best of luck to her in the final on Thursday.
